Petr Ptáček is a member of the Department of Business Economics and Law at the PRIGO University. He works as the director of grammar schools and the PRIGO Secondary School. He is a graduate of the University of Transport and Communications in Žilina, Faculty of Operation and Economics of Transport, where he received his economic education. He also graduated with a master’s degree from the Faculty of Education of the University of Ostrava in Ostrava. He completed an MBA programme at the Faculty of Economics of the VŠB-TU Ostrava, which cooperated with Liverpool John Moores University.
He completed the doctoral programme in Economics and Management of Food Companies at the University of Chemical Technology in Prague. He is currently completing a humanities education at Palacký University in Olomouc, Faculty of Cyril and Methodius, where he completed his bachelor’s programme and is pursuing a master’s degree.
Petr Ptáček is the author of several articles in professional peer-reviewed journals. He gives lectures externally at the Faculty of Economics of the VŠB-TU Ostrava to full-time students and MBA students. In the past, he did business in adult education, especially in organizing retraining courses and courses for food businesses. For more than two decades, he has held top positions in major Czech and foreign companies. Most recently as economic and personnel director and member of the board of directors of a major food company.
