Jiří Staňa is a long-time co-worker of the PRIGO University and the PRIGO Group, where he participates mainly in teaching the courses on Philosophy and Ethics. He is a lecturer and a consultant in communication skills and andragogy (SRR) and an external university lecturer at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ostrava in Ostrava.
His main specialization is rhetoric, written communication, ethics, pedagogical psychology, social interaction (presentation, nonverbal communication, assertiveness, stress, motivation, etiquette, etc.) and Islamic culture. Since 2001 (since 2007 as a second-seeded), he has been engaged in teaching, especially in communication skills and lectures in socio-scientific fields (rhetoric, Czech and European history, the issue of Islam, etc.). He is the author and implementer of corporate development programmes and open courses.
From 1999 to 2000, he worked as a teaching staff member of the VS CR and from 2001 to 2007 as a teacher at the Secondary School and University of Education. Since 2001 he has been an external lecturer at the University of Ostrava (rhetoric, Islam, philosophy of the 19th century, Czech history, etc.).
Since 2006, he has been a senior lecturer in pedagogy studies at the National Institute of Education of the Czech Republic (NIDV) in Ostrava (pedagogical psychology) and a member of the lecturing staff of Institute for Public Administration Prague (orientation in the field of Islam, communication skills for officials, professional correspondence). Since 2009 he has been teaching externally at the University of Ostrava and later also in Olomouc (pedagogical psychology) and since 2017 at the PRIGO University (philosophy and ethics).
As a lecturer, he cooperates with various private educational agencies, e.g. the European Commission, the European Commission and the European Commission. Education Centre Ostrava, TAW Brno, Curatio Brno, Steer Brno, LAROS Ostrava, TEMPO Ostrava.
He is the author of several professional articles and historical publications and a script in the field of communication skills.
